Why low calorie meals?

When my husband and I decided it was finally time to start losing weight (October 2010), I had to change the way I cooked...and I started to look for and change recipes so we could eat less calories, but be totally satisfied.

After just 2 months, my husband lost 30 pounds (from 200 to 170). I had lost 10 prior to really calorie counting and lost an additional 15 when the calorie counting began (from 170 to 145).

This blog is a compilation of all the things we now eat, including their calorie amounts.

I'd love to hear if you try any of these recipes and how you like them!

*Side note: we do not do weight watchers, but members of my family and some friends do...so I am adding the information needed to figure out the points...I'm not saying these meals are low points....just low cal!
